Add a Shared Mailbox to the Outlook Mobile App

If you would like to add a shared mailbox to the Outlook mobile app (iPhone, iPad, Android), please follow the instructions below.

This guide is exclusively for the Outlook mobile app and does not apply to accessing Outlook through a mobile web browser.
Alert
Shared mailboxes added via this method only work in the Outlook app, not in built-in iPhone or Android mail apps.
1. In the Outlook app, tap your profile icon at the top left of the screen to open the left-hand sidebar menu. It may show up as an image, your initials, or a house icon.

2. Tap the Add Account icon on the far left navigation bar (it looks like an envelope with a plus sign +).

3. From the menu that pops up at the bottom of the screen, choose "Add Shared Mailbox."

4. If prompted, choose your ABWE email account.

This step only appears if you have multiple email accounts logged into your Outlook app.

5. Type in the email address of the shared mailbox, then tap "Add Shared Mailbox."
