Update Email Address in Outlook Mobile App

If you are using the Outlook mobile app and have been assigned a new email address by ABWE, follow these instructions to update to your new email address. 

1. Open the Outlook mobile app. Picture 1

2. Click on the colored circle, located to the left of the word "Inbox", in the top left corner. Picture 2

3. Click on Settings (gear icon) located in the lower left corner of your screen. Picture 3

4. Click on the ABWE email account. Picture 4

5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on Remove Account. Picture 5
Info: All folder structures, messages, notes, contacts, etc. are stored on the servers. You will not lose any data by removing the account.

6. On the next screen select Add Account. Picture 6

7. Enter the new email address that was provided to you and click Add Account. Picture 7

8. You will need to open the Microsoft Authenticator app to verify your identity. Follow the on-screen instructions presented after clicking "Open Authenticator". Picture 8

9. You will need to change the old email address to the new one before clicking Next. Picture 9

10. If you click Next before updating the email address you will get this error. Be sure to enter the new email address before clicking Next. Picture 10

11. Enter your password and click Sign In. Picture 11
Note: If you do not know your password, or if your Authenticator app is not working, please contact itsupport@abwe.org for assistance with resetting those.

12. If you have another email address you would like to add to Outlook at this time, click "Add", otherwise click "Maybe Later". Picture 12

13. If your new email address is displayed, you have successfully changed your email address in the Outlook app. Picture 13
