Using the Scheduling Assistant

Using the Scheduling Assistant

When you need to schedule a meeting via Outlook, it is good practice to use the scheduling assistant when setting up your meeting.

To increase the maximum attendants to your meeting check their availability.

The scheduling assistant allows you to view the free/busy schedule of your co-workers that you want to attend your meeting.

To use the scheduling assistant, create a new meeting in Outlook.

On the new meeting screen click on "Scheduling Assistant".

Here on the Scheduling Assistant tab select "Add Attendees".

After you have added all the people you want to invite to the meeting, you can see the schedule availability of everyone you have invited.

To maximize your attendance of your meeting, pick the best time and date where you see the most availability.
