Installing Microsoft Authenticator

The Microsoft Authenticator app must be installed on a mobile device such as a cell phone or tablet. 

If you're using an Android phone or tablet, go to the Google Play Store.

Google Play Store for Android
Search for Microsoft Authenticator.
Warning: there are authenticator apps not made by Microsoft that require in-app purchases. Be sure to choose the official Microsoft Authenticator app which is circled below.
Tap "Install" and follow the prompts to download the app.

If you're using an iPhone or iPad, go to the Apple App Store.
